Due to circumstances beyond any one person's control, the ExIngres party train continues to roll. I thought we were running out of steam when we blew all the remaining ExIngres cash on the ExMas party, but now a consortium of anonymous donors has stepped forward to foot a several-hundred dollar bar tab ... not too shabby.
Our previous experiences at the Tied House were, uh, less than pleasant. Not because the food's terrible, and not because of the nasty servers, and not because of the bone-chilling cold atmosphere... Bad enough, true, but the real reason is that instead of giving us a discount for ordering all that beer they made us pay extra! Two years in a row!
So we've found a cozier place, centrally located and close to BART, with a real nice owner who's willing to deal. Park in the BART parking lot -- it starts to empty out around 5:30 - 6:00. Or just take BART, and be sure to stagger out by Midnight. Or stay with Greg or Peter -- I'm sure they'll put you up for the night (er, um). As usual, wear an Ingres shirt (or an ExIngres one) and have drink on us!
